Bring Out Your Dead (Bras)
While February 14th is reserved for lovers, and February 18th is all about families, February 13th has ’em all beat…tomorrow, Wednesday, is none other than Dead Bra Day! This is a chance for all bearers of boobs to come on out to Secrets From Your Sister (560 Bloor Street West) and:
A) Save 20% on all of the boutique’s fabulous, well-fitting and long-lasting bras by trading in a “dead” bra for a wicked discount, and;
B) Find a good use for all of those bras that have been languishing in your drawer since you gained weight/lost weight/had a baby/went through puberty, etc.
All of the dead bras wrangled by the Sisters will be donated to the Women’s Own Detox Centre Fund, which helps women recovering from drug addiction.
Unfortunately, every day can’t be Dead Bra Day, so this sale is happening today only. To make sure that as many women as possible can participate in this event, Secrets From Your Sister has extended their regular store hours and will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Be sure to arrive before 8:00, though, as the store’s doors will be closed at 8:00 on the dot in order to manage traffic in the changerooms.
(One last thing: though it may seem like a no-brainer, all dead bras must be washed before they can be traded for sweet, sweet savings.)
