Obama and Huckabee Win In Iowa, Britney Something Something Something

Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee win the Iowa Democratic and Republican caucuses. The caucuses, which are the first real test for any American presidential candidate, delivered powerful margins of victory for both candidates. However, Iowa alone does not guarantee you the nomination—just ask 1992 Iowa caucus winner Tom Harkin.
Legendary Star sportswriter Milt Dunnell passes at 102. A great sports columnist, Dunnell will be missed.
Troubled Britney Spears taken to hospital because oh I don’t care and neither do you.
New gas-fired power plant near the Leslie Street Spit scheduled to open in June. Because what a city really needs is more smog! Hey, whatever happened to those plans to make more windmills like the one at the CNE? The CNE windmill is awesome.
Finally, Newfoundland federal cabinet representative Loyola Hearn calls for a “truce” with Premier Danny Williams. Hearn insists that when he said knew everything happening in Williams’ office as well as Williams did, he was just joking! It was a joke! Don’t pay attention to that perfectly innocent ficus plant, by the way!
