Baby It’s Cold Outside, Lawyers Suggest More Small Claims, and Musharraf Gets Snubbed By The Commonwealth

Report calls for expansion of Ontario’s small claims court system. Many lawyers were interviewed about their opinion on the best way to increase access to justice in Canada—and then the report writers wrote down the exact opposite of what they said. (The joke here is that lawyers are evil, you see!)
Commonwealth countries suspend Pakistan’s membership. In response, Pervez Musharraf claimed he was going to start his own Commonwealth, with blackjack and hookers, and on second thought forget about the Commonwealth.
Halton Catholic school board reviewing whether to ban Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass from its libraries. After that Quebec bishop apologized for the church being antisocial yesterday, some people felt that the pro-censorship side needed equal time.
Finally, Pinball Clemons says he isn’t quitting as head coach of the Argonauts. The Argonauts are a football team which plays in Toronto, in a league composed entirely of Canadian teams.
