Join the Race to the Bottom of the Pile

Repo! The Genetic Opera!––the upcoming musical about an organ donor program that goes horribly horribly wrong––is (surprise!) filming in Toronto. Though there are a bunch of other half-decent actors in the film, Repo! is most notable for its star: Paris Hilton. Sooooo…yeah. That’s something.
Anyway, the production is looking for about 200 unpaid extras (men and women between the ages of 25 and 60) to dress up all nice and pretend to be opera patrons on Wednesday, October 17. Scenes filmed that day will feature Sarah Brightman (from Phantom of the Opera), Paul Sorvino (from Law & Order and Goodfellas), Anthony Head (from Buffy), Alexa Vega (from the Spy Kids film series), Kevin Ogilvie (from the band Skinny Puppy), Bill Moseley (from The Devil’s Rejects), and, yes, Paris Hilton (from One Night in Paris). As the press release notes, serving as an extra in Repo! will be “an opportunity to see an amazing cast of renowned artists perform on stage.” Heh.
If you are interested––we won’t judge, we swear––e-mail [email protected] with your name, age, phone number, and a photo if possible. It’s first-come, first-serve, so hurry hurry.
