Each weekday morning, we pick a recent image from the Torontoist Flickr Pool and feature it here on the site. It’s our way to give the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention they deserve!
Luminato is officially upon us as of today, and eager members of our Flickr pool have already captured and uploaded some spectacular images, such as this one by Uwajedi. The interactive light show is already up and running, and can be seen from all corners of the city, adding quite the pop to our night sky. The system is run by robotic searchlights, and the lights change based on pulse readings when gripping the various sculptures positioned at Harbourfront Centre. Pretty neat!
If you’re still not sure what Luminato is all about or can’t decide what to go to, be sure to check out our preview for best bets.
