No More Scurvy for Queen West West Kids

Price Chopper produce got you down? Apples and oranges from outside the Portuguese pescaria not quite cutting it? Perhaps a visit to one of Toronto’s newest farmer’s markets is in order!
The Trinity Bellwoods Farmer’s Market runs on Tuesday afternoons between 3 and 7 p.m., and it’ll keep on running until October 30. Local Ontario farmers will set up at the northwest end of the park (near Dundas and Shaw) with bread, nuts, flowers, fruits, vegetables, teas, pies, meat and maybe even meat pies.
The cool kids will all arrive by foot, bicycle or TTC, and they’ll all be sporting reusable shopping bags—that’s just the way it is at these city-slick farmer’s markets.
