Finding interesting moments in the various streets of Toronto isn’t a difficult task for moonw|re. Often using high contrast treatments to create more emphasis in her photographs, she also makes use of different vantage points and angles that gives a bit of distance from or a look into reality.
Smoke drink man woman is finished with black edging and high contrast, but captures some movement in a tight and personal shot to create a photo that could be a frame ripped straight from a film. The roughness of the final product is appropriate for the subjects that are thought to be “sharing recycled ciggies” by the photographer.
