Think of all the things you can do with panties…you can freeze the panties of the first to pass out at a sleepover. You can strip down to them and have a slap and tickle fight. And tonight, you can round up your quality, new, unused panties and donate them to a great cause.
Tonight, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. is PANTY SCHMOOZE 2007 at the Fox & Fiddle (190 Laird Drive)! Hosted by Jully Black and featuring performances by Fe Fe Dobson, Justin Hines and Terry Kelly, Panty Schmooze is a fundraiser for Julliette’s Place, Nellie’s Shelter for Women and Anduhyaun.
Women whose situations require them to stay in shelters for any length of time usually receive donations of clothing and other goods to help them out until they are back on their feet. While a lot of great clothes are usually donated to women’s shelters, undergarments of all kinds are usually not among them. When you think about it, this makes sense – most clothing donations are used, and used undies are not really considered share-worthy. But that means that there are a lot of women out there who are now in safe care and out of tough situations staying in shelters who could really use some panties.
This event is a great reason to have fun mixing and matching the super cute 5 for $25 undies at La Senza, but cash and other donations are welcome too. The first four Schmoozes raised $8,800 in cash, 3,400 new panties, 2,000 pairs of shoes and countless boxes of clothing and personal items!
It might be the best thing you do with your panties all week!
