Well, you do, and Looking Real Good, the new site by Pete Forde and Unspace, agrees.
Looking Real Good works on the basic premise that we all have moments of hotness and that this deserves celebration, regardless of how well we might or might not fit into standards of such. The operation is simple: you upload a picture of yourself (making sure to follow the site’s guidelines), offer a few comments on why you rule, and presto, your fifteen minutes extend to twenty-four hours (the profile changes daily and features one person per day).
Before some of you poise your digits to rail at what you might perceive as overt narcissism, Looking Real Good makes no bones about this: while the site is about “vanity, pure and simple,” its mandate is to create an inclusive (and ad-free) space that’s just plain fun to look at, and really, could we not all use more of that in our lives?
