Buddha Machine Optional

buddhamachine.pngThis is an image of a Buddha Machine. If you have one, you ought to bring it to Ambient Ping‘s Zen Garden Party tomorrow afternoon in the south-western greenhouse at the Allan Gardens Conservatory to “help create a moving sound-in-space experience.” If you don’t have one, it’s alright—they’re optional and you’re still welcome to come and enjoy the experience. If you would like one, they can be obtained at Soundscapes.
This is all happening on Sunday, March 25 from 2-4 p.m.
More details can be found on the Ambient Ping’s website. A bit of poking around there will tell you that The Ambient Ping “is a Toronto based creative community of audio artists, performers, musicians and visual artists.” But isn’t everything these days? The AP seems to focus on electronic sound art and they even have their very own Interent Radio Station.
