Uh oh, it’s a week till Christmas and you haven’t started shopping yet! You never know what to buy anybody, leaving you no choice but to buy a Body Shop gift basket every year for your mom. Well, guess what: it’s getting a little old now and so are you, so you should know better.
For those of you in a pinch, the appropriately titled Last-Minute Christmas Shopping Show may be the solution you’re looking for. Taking place Wednesday to Friday, the show will fill St. Lawrence Market North with artists, craft makers and designers just in time for you to fill all the remaining holes in your gift list. Times are 10am-3pm for Wednesday and Thursday, and 10am-10pm on Friday. It’s the last big craft fair of the season, just in time for all you slowpokes out there. There’s also a silent auction to help the Out of the Cold shelter program. Doesn’t that sound better than getting your significant other the Michael Bay Collection you’ve been eying at Best Buy? One option screams, “Maybe we should break up…” while the other says, “Let’s cuddle by the fire.” The choice is yours.
