It’s Torontoist Readership Survey Time!

If you like doing surveys as much as we do (which is a lot!), you’ll be pleased to know that Torontoist is conducting its inaugural readership survey. If you’re reading this sentence, well, you’re one of our readers, and we’d like to hear from you. Now’s your chance to help us learn some more about you and speak your mind about the site in the process.
The survey is just 2 pages and 20 multiple-choice questions, and you should be able to breeze through it in way less than five minutes. All the questions are optional and your data is kept completely anonymous.
The data we get from this survey will be used for many purposes, including, but not limited to:
- First and foremost, improving Torontoist. The answers you give us will help us increase coverage in areas that need it, let us know what we need when we’re hunting for new contributors, and tailor content more specifically to our demographics.
- Learning more about who reads us. We’re really, really curious. You could all be infants, for all we know.
- Targeting advertisers. Contrary to what some people think, blogs – even those doing as comfortably as Torontoist – don’t exactly pull in the dough, and we’re looking to attract some money. The data we get will help bring in ones who may be relevant to you. For example, if you’re all under 16, we will explore advertisers who target the “tween” market.
