Constantines Contest: Name Some The’s

Contests! Glorious contests! Yet another one for all of you – this one’s for two pairs of tickets to see The Constantines with Lullabye Arkestra and Shotgun & Jaybird at Lee’s Palace on Friday December 1, 2006. The show’s 19+, and tickets would normally put you out $17.50.
To win, send an e-mail to [email protected] before midnight next Wednesday, November 29, and tell us three “The” bands that you think should exist (like, say, The Deadly Moisturizers, The Cellulites, or The Old Yellers). We’ll pick our two favourite submissions, and the crafty authors will get put on the guest list for the show. Contest closed. Congratulations to our winners Robin H. and Angela Z., who will be receiving a pair of tickets each, and to our runners-up Ryan M. and Lisa F., who will be receiving copies of Baby Eagle and Wooly Leaves. Thanks a billion to ATG Concerts for hooking our readers up!
For those itching for more Constantines (or those under-agers who can’t get into the Friday show), there’s a Care benefit the next day, Saturday December 2, with the Constantines and Jason Collett, also at Lee’s. Its all-ages and is a 1:30 pm matinée show. Tickets for that one cost $16 in advance, $20 at the door.
UPDATE: We’ve also got two copies of two CDs from Constantine members’ side projects, Baby Eagle and Wooly Leaves. We’ll be giving them to the runners-up.
