Toronto’s Zombies to Set “Thriller” World Record

It looks like this Halloween is going to be very zombie-filled in Toronto. On Sunday, we had Toronto’s Annual Zombie Walk. And this Sunday, October 29th, at the Harbourfront Community Centre, a group of some 200 Torontonians will be setting the Guiness World Record for the Largest Performance of “Thriller” – in full zombie ensemble. And they want you to participate.
Here’s the rundown:

Everyone welcome!
We’ll teach you the dance!

Sunday, October 29, 2006
12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Harbourfront Center (627 Queen’s Quay West)
A minimum $3.00 donation is requested to cover the cost of the space.
(This is a NO-profit event. Really.)
Bring photo ID.
And bring a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Zombies get hungry too…

We thought that zombies had no use for money. And that the only sustenance they needed – food or drink – was delicious human brains. Oh well.
All of the rest of the details, including how to register, are over at in es sens.
Here’s the original Michael Jackson video if you need to refresh your memory:

And here’s a Bollywood Kollywood version, just because [Thanks Mel for the link and Lata for the correction]. Potential dancing zombies: note the different moves, and remember that you will not be using them – you need only concern yourself with Jackson’s version. This video is for comparison only.
Happy Thrilling!
