Never-never lunch

peterpan.jpg [SATIRE]If you’re anything like Torontoist, your life by this point is little more than an elaborate plot to avoid setting foot within 200 metres of any office-like structure. You’ve successfully backed away from business clothes, rarely check your messages, and for the most part, just sit outside your apartment, sunning yourself, harbouring your West-End bias, indulging in organic supermarket bananas and wondering whether you should apologize for your suburban upbringing.
But sometimes you also need to eat. And to eat, you need a tax receipt. So you do whatever you can to always consume your meals within 110 centimetres of a business contact, preferably at a restaurant.[/SATIRE]
[REVIEW]Some restaurants are better for these meetings than others. Peter Pan (373 Queen W.) is one such place. They have snappy lunch service, great lunch specials and good light for reading lunch menus and taking notes while absent-mindedly gazing at the art of the month– usually the kind of art that goes well with lunch.
Basically, on a Torontoist budget, it’s all about lunch. Which is fine because they have a decent number of vegetarian options, and if you’re both polite and creative, you can even squeeze a vegan meal out of the regular menu.[/REVIEW]
