We know what you’re thinking:
People are getting shot, we’re at risk from infectious diseases; trucks mow down cyclists; smog season is upon us; there’s less and less protection for our city’s most vulnerable; and we, Torontoist, are posting about this?
Yes. Because this sign is an example of what Toronto does better and more fervently than any other city in the World. It wants you to be safe. Really, really safe. Certainly safer than in Montréal, where an open manhole cover or a crater the size of Lac St-Louis in the middle of Boulevard Ste-Catherine never moved anyone to reach for the orange paint or a whisp of caution tape.
So for the love of Miller, be careful out there.
