Morrissey Spites Canada, Fans Even More Depressed
How do you further depress already morose Morrissey fans? Don’t show up. Yep, Moz will not be booking Canadian dates for his latest tour in protest of the seal hunt. Morrissey’s histrionic statement is here.
This feels like a hoax but British music paper NME picked up the story so we won’t be alone on this one if it turns out some cheeky Morrissey fan has pulled the wool over our eyes. We’re not taking stances on whether we like the seal hunt or not but we are going to call Morrissey on this statement:

Calling us money grubbing, cruel, barbaric and callous is fine. You’re entitled to your opinion Moz but comparing the seal hunt to the Holocaust, that’s just in extremely poor taste.
