Propaganda Is Not Just a River in Egypt
Plastered all over downtown are the above ‘martial law’ posters, both reacting to recent gun problems in the city and coinciding with various federal campaigns to stop the violence. The group that claims responsibility for the posters are the “Assoc. of Hard Working & Decent People of the Greater Toronto Area” – and ‘claims’ being an arbitrary term since there isn’t much indication who these people are. One might guess this is the work of hard-right reactionaries or some rogue strain of the police union – but that would only be a guess. Until further investigation can take place, can anyone offer information about these posters?
