Like a big pizza pie…that’s amore!
Frank e-mailed us a much appreciated heads up about this odd little ad campaign for Pizza Pizza giftcards. Now, Torontoist has been on a couple of dates at Amato’s (what can we say, we’re a sucker for the old Humphrey Bogart movie posters that adorn the walls of the Queen West location), but we’ve never really associated Pizza Pizza’s garish orange decor with romance. Plus, this hug is so fraught with emotion! It almost looks like a break-up hug, albeit one tempered with the bittersweet parting gift of a Pizza Pizza giftcard.
