College-age guy and girl standing behind us as we wait to cross Dundas.
Guy: So, you go to the gym and then you change, and then you put the same socks that you exercised in back on?
Girl: Oh…um, yes, well you see, no, what I do is…no, I don’t wear the same ones.
Guess she didn’t want to be seen pulling a Jonathan Safran Foer.

In Kensington, the kids were out in full force this weekend, but where were their parents? In front of a fruit stand on St. Andrews, a little boy had a little plastic bag over his head!
Boy: I’m a Zombie! Zombies!!! argh!!
Us: No, no, take that off. (our friend yanks the plastic bag off of his head.)
The boy walks away sadly, waits for us to leave, and puts the bag back on again.
And then, two little kids are on Baldwin in front of the fish shop.
Boy: It smells disgusting but it’s really cool. ya gotta see it.
(and he drags his friend inside to admire some iced fish.)
