Happy Week With the Serial Diners Club

dinersphoto.jpgThe Serial Diners have been visiting every restaurant in the yellow pages since 1989. At their current rate, they’ll complete the rigorous task of dining at all of them by 2035. Last Friday marked the commencement of their “So Happy Together” series, where they’ll visit all the Happy restaurants in Toronto, and Spadina’s Happy Seven on Friday.
Founded by Jason Taniguchi, a U of T student in 1989, the group’s rules are simple, and often involve filling up at Harvey’s, if the food at the intended restaurant is too disgusting or too expensive. And diners number anywhere from a handful to 400 individuals.
