Maple Leaf play-maker Jason Allison is so hot right now, he almost warrants a peculiar fan site like this. And he’s not just hot for those lady-killing (and, to be fair, male-killing) good looks…As of late, Allison’s on-ice performance has been nothing short of blog-worthy despite the continual Maple Leaf meltdowns.
It all started earlier this month, when the beleaguered centre was ravaged on this very site. Since then, Allison has been racking up 18 assists – out-performing many of his under-performing teammates. One explanation for his recent surge could be the early trade rumours, or the placement of Allison on a line with with Alexander Ponikarovsky and Nik Antropov. Another reason for recent success is that he reads Torontoist and decided to step it up. Most probably the latter.
