Walking Through The Leaves

Arborist Todd Irvine has two favorite things in life: walking and looking at trees. Fortunately for him, he’s landed his dream job: guiding walking tours of neighbourhood trees.
Join him with his passion this Saturday, September 10th for his first walk – the Leslieville Tree Tour. 1pm to 2:30pm. Meet at the southeast entrance to Leslie Grove Park (at Jones and Queen) [map]. Free (donations welcome).
Todd can boast being one of the founders of the walking group the Toronto Psychogeography Society. His new employer, LEAF (Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests), is doing many more nice things for the city’s urban forest.
Note: LEAF doesn’t have this event listed on their website. See this flyer instead (PDF). If you have trouble opening the PDF, do not fret, as pertinent details are listed within this post.
From the flyer: While no one will be turned away, we would appreciate it if you register with us at [email protected] or 416-413-9244 if planning to attend.
