Fulford Reads He Said She Said?
Advance copies of Toronto Life are telling us that TOist gets the big mention in a media column on blogs by the grand Fulf himself. We’re not the best seat in his house, just a site that ‘nails some of Toronto’s clichés,’ while still lacking a bit of a voice. But we’re young and mute, so it may take us a while.
The rest of Fulford’s piece discusses Andrew Coyne’s decision to ban comments, Zerb‘s usage of her blog as a personal political soapbox and Paul Wells‘ unflagging brilliance. The guy parses jazz and skewers inane politicos all on the same webpage! Who knew it could be done!
Beyond Fulford’s much overdue and mildly meandering blog round up, we know that TO Life is reading us. Why, you ask? Because the Sushi contagion we discussed in March is re-examined in exactly the same fashion in this month’s issue. We would have loaned them our photos. Sushi spread was also tackled in last week’s eye. To bring it all full circle, eye also makes an appearance in this month’s Toronto Life, by way of some sexy quotage from that weekly’s resident sexy. She thinks monogamy is a scam. But what does Paul Wells think? That guy is brilliant.
