Shorty
photoTO So my birthday is in less than two weeks. Think I’ll get any mail? Chances are I will get flooded with ecards and will receive none through conventional mail.
On the weekend, I was at Hallmark, buying a card for my second cousin’s first birthday and noticed that they were selling these boxes to keep your greeting cards organized. Do people actually need such a box? It got me thinking, Do people really mail off physical card anymore? Is the art of handwritten correspondence dead? Where does that leave Canada post?
Basically the only thing I get in my mailbox now, are a) flyers or b) bills. The last exciting thing I got in the mail was a week ago, when we got our new Ikea catelogue in the post. Otherwise, I can’t remember when I recieved an actual letter of correspondence. Possibly in the late 80’s growing up when I had a pen pal in New Brunswick. I wonder where he is at now.
