Back to Crispin Glover Part II
Shortly after the announcment of Crispin Hellion Glover’s Toronto visit and the premiere of his movie, Torontoist went into a hyper-fad state of shock over the magnetic actor. First, we watched River’s Edge and subsequently attempted to mimic the social graces of Glover’s character Layne at various local meet-ups. Then we took it up a notch when we bought Glover’s 1989 full-length album (which includes a cover of Jessica Simpson’s “These Boots Are Made For Walkin”) and studied Glover’s What Is It? essay (warning: this might be offensive to Steven Spielberg fans). And now, mere weeks since we last discussed his presence, Crispin Glover has been added to this weekend’s Rue-Morgue Festival of Fear. “I’m George McFly and I’m your destiny!”

Rest assured TOist will try to snag the Gloveman for a quick Tall Poppy Interview – doing what we can to avoid any “situations.”
