Liquor is Quicker
While Torontoist is relieved that there will be no shortage of liquor this coming long weekend, we were secretly hoping that the potential limited access to hard liquor would somehow automatically result in a few prohibition-style speakeasies, replete with rollicking jazz riffs, Algonquin-worthy bon mots, and plenty of Charlestoning. Alas, we’ll have to wait until Hallowe’en to trot out our kicky flapper dress and knee-lengh pearls.
