A few links and happenings…some positive, some not.
– Tomorrow night is the usually kicking hip hop and shoe night at Gypsy Co-Op. Masia One will have her New Kicks on.
– Broken Social Scene v. The City of New York? As PopWherry and Pitchfork have already reported, Broken Social Scene producer Dave Newfeld got roughed up (“the shit kicked out of him”) by NY’s ‘finest’ last week. BSS are considering legal action.
– Good riddance Slim Shady.
– What to do?? MySpace is now indirectly owned by the fascist who owns Fox. For those keeping track, that’s the second time Torontoist used the word “fascist” today.
