No growth hormones, no antibiotics, no genetic modifications, and no pesticides. Kensington Market Organic Ice Cream is the only organic home made ice cream shop in the city.
No antibiotics? Bad news for anyone trying to cure a urinary tract infection, but good news for anyone concerned with what they shove into their mouths on a dessertly basis. “Organic” doesn’t necessarily spell “a good cone” though — it’s the flavours that make the diff here. Try the weird coffee flavour, or the banana concoction. And, apparently, the waffle cones are additive-free too. Count Kensington Organic Ice Cream as one of the good smells in the market.
