Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe is on a tear. Stereogum reports that the unpredictable frontman dissed Dashboard Confessional, cheered mothers and generally played a wild show at his last Lollapalooza stop a few days ago in Chicago, so perhaps he’ll toast fathers when he comes to the Phoenix tonight.
Also, Mr. Newcombe feels ” ripped off by the “lowest common denominator” culture machine,” and would have you know that he doesn’t approve of Dig, the film about his band and the Dandy Warhols that came out last year.
