How the Hell Did We Miss This?
Three hundred gingivits plagued citizens swishing in unison! It’s Gingivitis Week in Canada and our dentist did not call to remind us. Nevermind the fact that we don’t have a dentist, we’re still incensed. To commenorate this highly important and Pfizer-sponsored new official week, crowds gathered at the TD Centre to break the World’s record for largest simultaneous swish yesterday. You can’t make this stuff up. Nor would you want to. Of course, we should not be making light of this extremely important ‘week.’ 75% of Canadians suffer from gingivitis. Egads. Also, please note the giant toothbrush in the photo. Worse than gingivitis is the epidemic of banal jumbo costumes that seem to be overtaking the city.
