Torontoist has always had close ties to the rap community, but none moreso than bumping into meathead G-Unit star 50 Cent this weekend. Okay, we didn’t actually “bump” into Cent – we just heard he was in the city. Cinquante is currently filming a biopic, entitled Get Rich or Die Tryin’, around the Sherbourne and Howard intersection. At the nearby Sherbourne and Bleeker, the Cent people have changed the street signs to “Webster & 169 E St.”
Fifty was also spotted around Spadina + Adelaide area, pimping a P.I.M.P. shirt and drinking pomegranite juice.
