Will Work for Art
Last month brought us an inspiring all-gal illustration show, and this month brings us one for the boys. We don’t know when all the TO artists decided to group off boys v. girls in the style of grade 2 kids at the playground, but it’s all fun and games so long as no name calling is involved. Employee of the Month, a group show clustered around the theme of work, opens tomorrow with free beer and Post-Its at the Steamwhistle Gallery. Okay, we can’t guarantee that Post-Its will be on hand. In any event, lots of curiously fine work about being a worker, as illustrated by the boys Hammer, Hutsul, Leighton, Manale, Pultz and Wilson. Girls welcome to attend though!
