Goodbye, Rubella Virus

rubella.gifNot to start any ‘end-of-the-world’ type panic, but Health Minister George Smitherman thinks you’d better get your vaccination at some point. Also known as German measles, around 90 cases of rubella have been reported in the town of Norwich, Ontario.

Rubella spreads by contact with an infected person through coughing, sneezing or talking to them. It can also be spread by contact with the saliva of infected people.
