Dubai Gets High
Or at least higher than Toronto, in a quest to build the World’s Tallest Tower that began today. They promise that the Dubai Tower will out-trump our once vertically-victorious shaft, the CN tower, but won’t say by how much. It seems secrecy is key when you’re spending a ridiculous amount of money (1 billion USD) to create the baddest toy tower on the world block. Which is why we say feh to all this ‘my tower is bigger than your tower’ pettiness. The CN’s stature is plenty grand enough for us. And what the CN tower lacks in stature it makes up for in proximity.
