TTC On Strike Monday
You won’t be getting on one these come Monday morning. Local 113, of the Amalgamated Transit Union could not come to an agreement with the TTC, citing the contracting out of workers as a major stumbling block.
While the strike will be a major inconvenience to drivers and commuters and have a major impact on the economy. Toronto’s ivory towers, the University of Toronto and York, will continue torturing students despite the fact that many of them will have a very hard time getting there.
