Miller to Olympics: What’s Really Good?
When a brash, youthful Dave Miller first arrived in Canada, the fun loving Brit made a bee-line for Expo 67 in Montreal. The future mayor had such a grand time, he wants to relive the event with Expo 2015 in Toronto. So, in order to make it happen, Miller has now thrown his considerable support a Toronto Expo 2015 as opposed to the Olympics. “One thing about the world’s fair that is better than the Olympics is it would leave a real legacy,” said DM.
Around the very same day Mr Miller came over from England in 1967, he also had his first sip of the tasty Canada Dry Ginger Ale. “My first memory of anything Canadian was a very soothing can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale given to me by a steward on the ship,” said a wistful mayor.
And lucky he was to receive that soothing can – he still drinks Canada Dry to this day!
