Elvira, Dopefiend and Other New Things
– A Daily Showesque pop culture news show produced by the Comedy Network and starring the frighteningly-named Elvira Kurt has apparently been on the air for a few weeks. But if you don’t have a television you can just go watch a nightly taping at the Toronto Film Studios.
– Dopefiend.ca is a new TO site that promises to be “your style joint.” Nice design, an inaugural interview with magic pony, and more on the now slightly tiresome Val Kilmer Caper. Check it out.
– TO’s most disfunctional television brother, the lovely Will Arnett, is on the cover of this month’s North Toronto Post. What is the North Toronto Post you say? We didn’t know either, but it’s free and has many fine interviews with North TO merchants, like Richard Farbman, the genius behind What-a-bagel.
