There’s a new foodie glossy coming out, and TOist is hungry for more information. City Bites will be a free bi-monthly, that “will be delivered primarily to select neighborhoods in the urban core, inside copies of NOW magazine.” Contributors to the first and second issues include the usual suspects (Leanne Delap, Jacob Richler, Anita Stewart and Russell Smith), but no James Chatto, who still dispenses crumbs of wisdom at Toronto Life. Which, of course, makes sense, but TOist wanted an excuse to write ‘Chatto in the System,’ so please forgive us.
The site’s advertising page has a nice picture and phrase about appreciating a good cup of coffee. And it also has some fun facts about Now’s readership: NOW readers are 2.5 times more likely than the average Torontonian to have consumed Canadian wine in the past 30 days .
Whoduv thunk it? Look for City Bites March 31st.
