Believe it or not, the Raptors once again lost in disgraceful fashion last night. After clawing their way back to hold the ball for the game-winning shot, RESERVE point guard, Milt Palacio elected to attempt an off-balance, heavily guarded lay-up instead of calling a timeout. Same old Raptor story.
One bright spot for the Raps was Jalen Rose’s 35 points. Unfortunately the team has given up 110 points in four of their last five games. Another bright spot might be Chris Bosh leaving the game with what was reportedly a back injury. Without Bosh in the lineup, the team is certain to move up the ladder in this summer’s draft lottery.
By the way, Vince Carter had 30 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to help the Nets beat the Chicago Bulls. What a rat!
If you’re as frustrated as Torontoist is with the NBA these days, don’t fret – NCAA March Madness tips off this afternoon. Better get those last minute brackets filled out.
