Royson James Decides Not to Run for Office
Toronto Star columnist Royson James ruled out running for City Council today, stating that he is not a politician. In an exclusive question/answer period, James said, “No, not for me. Politics is too hard.” James said he had never really considered taking a post at City Hall, nor has anyone ever suggest that he should. The columnist was amused at Torontoists suggestion that he should be the next Joe Pantalone; “I don’t want people to e-mailing me saying, ‘I pay your salary!’ That’s not me.” Check back with Torontoist for more updates.
