Rochester Holds Door Open, Pays For Ferry

Canada is turning out to be a fairly expensive date for our American sweethearts. Earlier today, the city of Rochester covered the $32 million bill for the New York state via Lake Ontario high-speed ferry. The 55-mph Spirit of Ontario was in use for almost 3 months before shutting down due to debt last year. Our short arms and deep pockets may have to correct themselves though, as Toronto will no doubt have to chip in for the service that is said to resume by May.
