At last October’s Run For Cure, Torontoist couldn’t help but notice more than 100 per cent of women had a coloured stripe across their bums. Even women not participating in Breast Cancer fundraising run were wearing the black pant avec stripe-across-the-cheeks garment. Upon further inspection, Torontoist found that some of these female runners did not appreciate us inspecting their bums. Upon even further inspection, the athletic wear-slash-uniform turned out to be from the heavily popular lululemon athletica.
Starting today until Sunday, Toronto’s lulu puts their clothes on warehouse sale, 590 King St. W (2nd floor), from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Butt before running down to buy new yoga outfits, consider the following pro’s, con’s and alternatives:
– The famous bum pants will reportedly NOT be on sale, since there will not be any black clothing (?). This is strange, but it comes from a highly reliable lulu source.
– New clothing will be added daily.
– lulu is fair trade and Vancouver-based! Furthermore, they were not bought out by Nike or Gap, as was widely rumored last fall.
– If lulu isn’t your thang, check this trendy spring line-up. Uh-huh, yeah.
