Kensington Two: Zimmerman, You Weirdo!
Progress is being made. Zimmermans, that ne’er to open groc shop in Kensington, now has shelving, sample items and the weirdest poster art this side of Oshawa. Look at that erratic bolding! It speaks of a man confused, a man who has laboured long and hard to bring Kensington its very own grocery store, despite a slew of hurdles. One of those hurdles seems to be a complicated family feud involving the Zimmermans across the street. Apparently those Zimmermans, who have their own shmata shop cum grocery emporium, think Martin Zimmerman’s Freshmart is fresh in the wrong kinda way. Torontoist doesn’t know what to think, whose side to take in this mart mismanagement melée. But we applaud Zimmerman’s Freshmart for its graphic design skills, a fascinating sneak peak into the kind of signage we can look forward to when Zman’s Freshmart does one day open its sliding doors.
