Canada Eclipses Bill Murray on Cool-o-meter

Skip over the hooplah surrounding a spate of dumb new Montreal-is-the-new-Seattle articles in places like the NYTimes and Spin and New York Mag, and look at a few more examples of Canadians done good, in the department of cool:
– ‘Marcel Dzama, where are you?’ we wondered. Holed up in the peg with your band of merry artmakers? Probably, but you also found time to design this awesome new Beck album cover. Good work.
– Toronto Dance Theatre takes on NY next week, in a show that “contains full male and female nudity,” the Joyce Theatre had to caution on their website. Enough with the Arcade Fire love-on, New Yorkers can go see naked Canadians dancing.
– Spacing Buttons make it all the way to BoingBoing! And yes, we know we’ve mentioned them no less than 47 times in previous posts.
