Prisoners of Justice, and the Screen

corporate_lockdown.gifU of T’s ‘Social Justice Cluster’ launches the city’s first annual Prisoners’ of Justice Film Festival today with three days, and fifteen films worth of programming. Film programs are grouped into themes including youth detention, prisons and health, and immigration and detention.
TOist is interested in Sarah Zammit’s Corporate Lockdown, a short doc about multinational corporations wielding increasing power in the accordingly privatised prison system in the U.S. It screens tonight, and there will also be a Q&A with the director.
Admission to all screenings is pwyc, with a $5 suggested donation.
