Who knew Ken Finkleman’s 100 Per cent Film and Television Inc. could ever be involved with something that wasn’t written by the Newsroom star himself? The production company, fronted by writer-director-actor Ken Finkleman and Jan Peter Meyboom, has optioned the Michel Basilieres novel Black Bird for film. Good work, Ken! It’s unknown whether the self-reflexive, dry-witted funnyman will star in the movie, but Torontoist believes Finkleman is a shoo-in for role of a heart-stealing grave-robber.
