Dave Wants a Live-In!
According to an exclusive interview with the Star, MDM would like TO’s ‘topcop’ to reside in TO. Fair enough, but Mr. Mayor concedes that, unlike in U.S. cities, where municipal employees can be required to dwell within city limits, the Charter prevents MDM from forcing Fantino to move in with him. 
– In further Mayoral news, MDM has been ruffling Kingstonian feathers by expressing desire to secede from the Association of Municipalities. Apparently, MDM wants the city to speak only for itself. And so, the chief must live inside the city, and the city must live outside the Association of Municipalities, and the homeless must move inside to sleep. On the outside chance MDM is reading this, we’ll use our inside voice and not question his latest maneuvers.
