Subway Sale, and We don’t mean Steak and Cheese
The TTC is having its bi-annual Lost Article Sale. Any item left unclaimed after 90 days gets sold, including computers, bikes, musical instruments and hundreds of pairs of sunglasses. Torontoist presents an analogy: TTC is to sunglasses, as Dryers are to socks. Torontoist may go in for a gross of lost umbrellas, as ours tend to get lost or Mary Poppinsed (blown ruinously upside-down) with unbelievable regularity. The sale takes place November 3-5 from 9-11:30am at the Bay Street Subway Station.
