Minding Mayor Miller: Chapter 1
Torontoist likes the idea of recurring features. They’re features that recur, providing consistency in these troublingly inconsistent times. And so, in the coming weeks, we shall introduce to you a suite of recurring features – stories and themes we’ll highlight with fibrous regularity. And to start, we present to you Minding Mayor Miller, the recurring feature in which we’ll share with you what we know about our charismatic and well-coiffed city head.
This week, a wee bit of entirely unsalacious gossip:
Mayor Miller attended the wedding of coucilman Howard Moscoe’s daughter this weekend, where he danced away the night on the 35th floor of a downtown hotel. Most amusing to Mr. Miller was an indefatigable whirling dervish of a three year-old, who appeared to be almost as fond of dancing as the mayor himself.
We know what you think of this gossip. Meh, so the mayor likes dancing. Indeed, Torontoist promises better gossip about the man with a plan, and a broom, in the weeks to come.
